What's the difference between digital and virtual cards?

Digital cards are digital versions of physical debit or credit cards that can be used for online and for in-store purchases. For example, adding your Mastercard digital card to the smart wallet on your phone allows you to use it in-store.

Virtual cards are digital and cannot be used physically in store. They are often generated for specific purposes, like online shopping or subscriptions.
